Weight of the World: How Childhood Fatphobia Shapes Our Kids

I will be presenting a long-form article through Medium on how fatphobia and weight stigma is something that is ingrained in children from a very young age, and has impacts and effects early in life. In order to practice short-form writing though, I was tasked with creating mock-ups of promotional social media posts for said long-form article

So in general, I decided to keep a universal image for the image used for all the posts to keep the theme cohesive (as well as there not being many pictures out there of several children with varying body types). I open with the mentioning of Ozempic and Wegovy since their name alone as well as their usage is a hot topic at the moment.

I utilize the term weight stigma instead of fatphobia when talking about negative actions taken towards someone based around their weight because I feel it is more professional sounding and less of a progressive buzzword, allowing it to maybe be looked at by more people of diverse political leanings. The -phobia and -ism use can be a bit of a turn off to some.
